Financial Accountant – WaterfordPermanent full-time positionWorking arrangements – onsiteSalary – DOEWe are working with a company based in Waterford city who are hiring a Financial Accountant to join their team.The business is well established, and the team in Waterford is close knit, with an open and collaborative culture.The Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

Daily bank reconciliations, FX hedging, and cashflow tracking
Oversight of AR/AP including sales & purchase invoicing
Management reporting: weekly, monthly, and ad hoc analysis
Supporting audits (interim & year-end) and revenue returns
Expense reporting & credit note control
Involvement in system/process improvements and IT liaison
Cross-training with team and stepping in for the FC as needed

About You:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Relevant industry experience an advantage
Strong attention to detail and an adaptable, hands-on approach
Comfortable working across teams and systems – a natural problem solver
