
Automation Technician West Dublin

- Support installation and commissioning of automated production lines and equipment in the new facility.
- Perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on a range of automation systems (robotics, PLC-controlled machinery, vision systems, conveyors, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with GMP and ISO 13485 standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to implement equipment modifications and improvements.
- Ensure all work is documented in line with regulatory and company standards.
- Support validation, calibration, and qualification of equipment and systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Provide technical support and training to production operators as required.
- Qualified in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2+ years' experience in an automation or maintenance role, ideally within medical devices, pharma, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar), robotics, servo systems, and vision systems.
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work shifts and respond flexibly to production needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
