
Business Development Manager

- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through research, networking, and strategic outreach.
- Work closely with the Department Director and Marketing team to develop and execute strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms and pricing are comprehensive and competitive while aligning with company objectives.
- Monitor account performance with internal stakeholders and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their business needs.
- Act as main commercial contact for clients.
- Regularly meet with clients to review their accounts and identity further commercial opportunities and to ensure satisfaction with services and products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Science or relevant experience.
- Approximately 5 years’ experience in a business development role.
- Previous experience in the laboratory services industry will be highly regarded.
- Experience with public procurement and tender writing would be advantageous.
