• Working closely with suppliers to ensure all own-brand products meet agreed specifications and quality standards for both product and packaging.
• Ensuring full compliance with legislation and internal policies throughout all stages of product development.
• Managing and maintaining online product specifications to ensure all products are fully approved before launch.
• Following the stage gate process to deliver efficient, structured product development.
• Conducting regular market benchmarking to identify opportunities for product or process improvements.
• Supporting suppliers and product developers to implement best-in-class sustainable packaging solutions in line with environmental targets.
• Maintaining close communication with the Quality department regarding supplier audits and managing any technical issues effectively
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Understanding business priorities and contributing to delivering quality products at the lowest possible cost.

• Third-level degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Business, or a similar relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the FMCG sector/food manufacturing environment in a transferable role such as Development, Quality, or Technical.
• Experience completing retailer specifications using computerised systems.
• Knowledge and experience of legal labelling and label approvals.
• Strong project management, organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
