Responsibilities
- Carry out all work safely, cost effectively and to the highest GMP standards.
- Timely and effective troubleshooting and repair of day-to-day equipment and systems issues.
- Work with cross functional teams to diagnose causes of system, equipment, or material failures.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis events and reports.
- Support all teams in meeting the plants KPI targets and individual contribution to the functional KPI’s through the systemised updating and delivery of SAP KPI’s (CMMS data) in a high quality & timely manner
- Drive/Support all LOTO activities as required.
- Provide technical support to project teams as and when needed to ensure technical best practice solutions.
- Partner in Quality, Cost and Service initiatives to drive performance improvement.
- Recommend process or system modifications.
- Assist in diagnosing and finding the answers to technical problems.
- Maximize equipment and plant availability through the root cause identification and subsequent elimination of problems/defects.
- Implement ideas to improve efficiency and effectiveness in both energy usage and of plant/production equipment performance.
- Demonstrate technical and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive in delivering results in a production environment.
- Innovative approach to problem solving.
- Committed to cGMP with a good understanding of business processes/drivers.
- Maintenance on all areas of manufacturing and utilities including transfer, handling/sanitizing and processing of bulk liquids and powders. Automated liquid and powder process and filling equipment including robotics, labelling, check-weighing, stretch-wrapping etc.
- Establish and execute best-in-class practices and participate and support the maintenance improvement programs on site.
- Working with multiple internal & external stakeholders, primarily Engineering, EHS, Quality & other Global Teams Maintain and support the latest automation technologies – PLC & In-Batch.
- Participation in training requirements to support business needs This training will have the objective of upskilling and
- Qualified – National Mechanical craft Completion of Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter - MAMF apprenticeship or equivalent.
- 3+ years industry experience ideally within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated technical and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications.
- Proactive in delivering results in a production environment.
- Innovative approach to problem solving.
- Committed to cGMP with a good understanding of business processes/drivers.
- A good understanding of the principles of L.O.T.O process.
- Ability to work shift as per business requirements.
- A team player with willingness to provide guidance or support to other team members as appropriate.
- Familiarity and knowledge of Plant technology and Process Systems –
- Trouble-shooting, de-bugging, repair and maintenance knowledge with regard to all aspects of plant equipment
- Shift work may be a requirement as and when the business requires
