
Groups, Conference and Events Sales Executive

- Liaise with clients to oversee the development, coordination and delivery of conferences, meetings and private events.
- To produce detailed function sheets for each event and to send out in a timely fashion – to then work in collaboration with our operations team to ensure the delivery of the event exceeds our client's expectations.
- To communicate, maintain and develop new and existing client relationships.
- Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and quality of service at all times.
- To work as part of the sales team; to contribute to & assist senior management in promoting hotel goals.
- Ensure there is fluid communication of all events to all hotel departments.
- To promote sell-up opportunity, cross-sell of F&B outlets as appropriate.
- Have a real understanding of hotel operations and specifically Conference and Events.
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
- Passion, energy, enthusiasm.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong communication, negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of Opera ideal but not essential.
- Previous 4/5* hotel experience.
