The AIML Data Collections team is a fast paced, dynamic environment. We collaborate with teams across Apple's ecosystem to deliver high-quality data to be used for AIML algorithms and critical software and hardware development. You will rely heavily on your program management skills and your ability to lead project managers to success!DescriptionYou are an experienced project manager who can thrive in a fast-paced workplace where both individual drive and team collaboration are the keys to success. You will collaborate with the client teams and Engineering Program Managers to design, manage and oversee global user studies to gather data to use to develop our most critical software and hardware. You will work with annotations, engineering and algorithm teams to ensure the final deliveries meet expectations. As well as managing vendors and project resources and ensure that project status and needs are communicated effectively with the client teams. You will oversee operational responsibilities including workflow management and process improvement. You will engage with your stakeholders regularly and you will be an exceptional teammate for a critical team.Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelorʼs of Science degree or equivalent
  • Strong project/program management experience and passionate about delivering good quality data within project timelines
  • Self-directed and proactive, can thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated, good attention to detail, capable of working independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Adept at leading and motivating project teams including members of different orgs
  • Experience in client management, establishing relationships and leading multi-functional projects
  • Experience managing complex data collection and annotation projects is a plus
  • Consistent focus on improving, standardizing and automating existing processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to work in a self-directed environment, and ability to make timely and effective reporting to leadership
  • Experience managing vendors
  • Able to work collaboratively with engineers across organizations and time zones
  • High degree of adaptability, flexibility, creative decision-making and technical problem-solving abilities
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture while working with ambiguity and uncertainty
