As Head Chef, you’ll be setting the tone for the hotel’s entire food offering – from relaxed breakfasts to vibrant restaurant service and beautifully executed private events. This role is about more than running a kitchen: it’s about building a team that thrives, producing food that people talk about, and creating menus that celebrate seasonality and style.What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and inspiring your brigade, mentoring and training chefs at all levels
- Driving consistency and quality across restaurant, bar, banqueting and events
- Creating menus that are fresh, seasonal and exciting, while keeping an eye on costs
- Ensuring top-class HACCP standards and smooth kitchen operations day to day
- Working closely with the management team to deliver memorable guest experiences
- Proven Head Chef or strong Sous Chef experience in an upmarket hotel or restaurant
- A passion for seasonal Irish produce and modern food trends
- Strong leadership skills – someone who can motivate, train and develop their team
- Financial awareness with experience in managing GP and stock control
- A calm, positive presence in the kitchen – even when the pressure’s on
