Accounts AdministratorWe are recruiting on behalf of a motor dealership based in Blackpool, Cork City. Our client is a well-established name in the Irish automotive industry. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their finance department and play a pivotal role in maintaining their high standards of financial accuracy.The RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Head of Finance. You will work within a stable, knowledgeable team, handling the core financial administrative functions of a busy dealership. This role is 100% office-based and offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability and professional development.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Processing: Manage purchase invoices, creditor payments, and perform comprehensive monthly reconciliations.Dealership Operations: Process vehicle sales order forms and service invoices using AutoView.Banking: Prepare daily lodgements and conduct bank reconciliations.Credit Control: Monitor and manage outstanding accounts, ensuring timely follow-up on aged debt.Stock Management: Oversee inventory-related tasks, including stock movement and audit preparation.Compliance: Maintain rigorous records and ensure all tasks align with company policies and distributor guidelines.Support: Assist with month-end/year-end closing and provide general administrative support to the finance team.RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 3 years in an accounts/administrative role.Industry Knowledge: Previous experience within the Motor Trade is highly desirable.Technical Skills: Proficiency with AutoView (or similar Motor DMS) is a significant advantage.Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy and a process-driven mindset.Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a small, focused team environment.Availability: Candidates should ideally be available to start within a one-month notice period.Package & BenefitsSalary: €35,000 - €40,000 per annum (DOE).Insurance: Death in Service benefit (post-probation).Growth: The client is highly supportive of further education/exam support and long-term career progression for the right individual.Hours: Monday - Friday, standard office hours.
