- Identify and pursue new opportunities within foodservice – including wholesalers, distributors, contract caterers, QSRs, and hospitality groups.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts; manage pricing, promotions, and joint business planning to drive mutual growth.
- Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, NPD, Production and Supply Chain to ensure customer satisfaction and innovation alignment.
- Monitor sales against budgets and forecasts, by product and customer, track progress against targets, and provide regular reporting to the Commercial Manager.
- Maintain a clean and neat working environment, ensuring high standards of housekeeping
- Promote and implement sustainability initiatives within the sales department to align with the company's environmental goals.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in foodservice sales or business development, preferably within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Strong network within Irish and/or UK foodservice sector.
- Proven ability to win new business and manage key accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for food and understanding of the chef and catering world.
- Commercially astute with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel.
- Ability to embrace the values into all areas of your role.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Listens to the “voice of the customer” while assuring that commitments to customers are not made unless they can be achieved to the highest standards.
- Strong IT and organisational skills.
- Culinary background or strong food knowledge is a plus.
