- Credit Evaluation: Review and assess loan proposals, including underwriting packages, borrower profiles, and market context.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and challenge key credit risks such as borrower strength, market exposure, asset quality, and exit strategies.
- Sector Insight: Leverage your hospitality expertise to evaluate operational risks, demand drivers, and asset performance potential.
- Decision-Making: Participate in credit committee meetings, cast formal votes on credit approvals, and document your rationale in line with internal governance standards.
- Collaboration: Work constructively with the investment and risk teams to enhance deal structuring and ensure alignment with the firm’s credit appetite.
- Governance: Help uphold and refine the firm’s internal credit policies and contribute to the ongoing development of our credit risk framework.
- A seasoned professional with deep experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in operations, development, or finance.
- Familiar with real estate finance, credit evaluation, or structured lending principles.
- Comfortable assessing risk in asset-backed lending environments.
- Highly principled and analytical, with a rigorous and detail-oriented approach to decision-making.
- Experienced in the London hospitality property market (strong advantage).
- Prior credit or investment committee experience is helpful, but not essential.
- Resident in Ireland and able to commit to 4-6 board meetings per year in Dublin.
