Payroll Administrator – 18 Month FTCLocation: Limerick (Hybrid)Team Size: Internal Payroll Team | Reports To: Payroll ManagerEmployment Type: Full-time | Position Type: Fixed Term Contract (18 months)OverviewAn excellent opportunity to join a leading global professional services firm as a Payroll Administrator on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This role is part of the internal payroll team, supporting payroll operations across multiple entities and ensuring delivery of a high-quality payroll service in line with local legislation and company policies.The successful candidate will be involved in the full payroll life cycle, supporting both BAU (business-as-usual) payroll activities and special projects, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.Core ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing & Administration
  • Collate and prepare all inputs in advance of payroll deadlines
  • Support end-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities
  • Process monthly PAYE submissions on ROS
  • Manage voluntary deductions (health insurance, Credit Union, etc.), including updates and reconciliations
Employee Support & Queries
  • Respond to employee requests and queries via the internal ticketing platform
  • Escalate complex queries when necessary
  • Maintain excellent employee service standards
Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure payroll compliance with GDPR and internal policies
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality across all payroll activities
  • Support payroll audits and process reviews
Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Assist payroll peers with special projects related to payroll function
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with HR and Finance to ensure smooth payroll operations
Candidate RequirementsQualifications & Experience
  • IPASS qualification (essential)
  • End-to-end payroll processing experience
  • Experience with MegaPay desirable but not essential
Technical Skills
  • Strong Excel skills, including data validation and analysis
  • Experience managing high volumes of payroll data
  • Familiarity with HR/Finance systems such as Workday is an advantage
