Health and Safety Lead

• Manage the health, safety, and environmental management system, ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
• Collaborate effectively with the Construction Team to implement the Integrated Management System.
• Ensure the site is properly equipped with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of High-Risk Activities (HRAs), ensuring they are identified and controlled on site.
• Support the development and coordination of the Risk Assessment & Method Statement process.
• Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide training and communication to all site personnel, including subcontractors, on these procedures.
• Ensure all subcontractors are prequalified according to company's protocols and assigned to the project.
• Report and investigate incidents following Incident Management Procedures and Notification Protocols.
• Communicate Safety Alerts through weekly Toolbox Talks.
• Provide EHS project support and maintain relevant documentation.

• Relevant Health and Safety Diploma / Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Environmental Health and Safety role.
• Experience in construction would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Willingness to travel if required
