
Purchasing Assistant

- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders for supplies, equipment, and services as required by various departments.
- Becoming a key user of the hotels procurement tool (Procure Wizard) and supporting departments to ensure the hotel maximizes the system
- Responsible for receipting deliveries and supporting in investigation on discrepancies against delivery. Ensuring deliveries agree to Purchase orders
- Work with the Purchasing Manager to ensure proper storage, security and distribution of deliveries within the hotel.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply for operational needs.
- Help with stock counts and maintain accurate records.
- Manage stock rooms by organising and rotating stock as necessary.
- Keep back of house tidy.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are complied with.
- Ensure security and safety protocols are followed in Hotel Car Park/Delivery areas.
- Stationery management in the hotel.
- Fluent level of both written and spoken English is essential.
- A minimum of 1-2 years in a similar role is desirable.
- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and be proactive at problem solving.
- Good communication skills.
- High level of computer literacy skills
