The ideal candidate will possess a strong focus on detail, be an excellent communicator with good telephone manner, and be comfortable alongside new technology systems. If you are a detail-oriented individual who likes focusing on accuracy, data management and delivering on KPIs, and maintaining financial integrity across various processes you will feel right at home in this role.In this role, you will work closely with our Head of Finance and the wider team to ensure success in all things Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping and across general accounting support. Excellent communication skills are crucial, as you'll engage with suppliers, and stakeholders daily.Key Responsibilities:Process and manage accounts payable duties, ensuring that all supplier accounts are maintained up to date and reconciled.Perform Bookkeeping duties, maintaining accurate information in our ERP (Netsuite)Bank reconciliations to be completed daily and weeklyData entry of supplier invoices and updating financial informationMaintain digital folders and files, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.Assist with month end close processesReport on KPIs and key deliverables weekly to the Head of FinanceProvide support to other roles within the finance and administration team as required and undertake various administrative and data entry tasks related to financial operationsRole CompetenciesBookkeeping experienceData entry efficiency and accuracyExcellent time management and prioritisation skillsStrong reconciliation abilitiesAdaptability and flexibility in task managementProfessional telephone etiquetteCustomer service orientationAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingRequirements and Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar financial role, preferably in accounts payable or receivableVery strong attention to detail and ability to priorities and manage multiple tasksStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, G Suite, and PowerPointExperience with ERP systems and accounting softwareExcellent phone manner and interpersonal communication skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyGood numerical skills and problem-solving abilitiesFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and take on various financial tasksLocation: Please note this role is based onsite at NBD HQ, Blarney, Co.
