Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid or remote (depending on your proximity to our Dublin 18 office)What you will do:Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives, the Pricing Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the Pricing Department, including overseeing a team of skilled Pricing Analysts. The position requires process-driven and critical thinking skills to support and respond to pricing demands. Additionally, demonstration of strong interpersonal skills is essential for fostering productive collaborations with our Analysts and internal stakeholders across WPO. The ideal candidate is expected to effectively communicate clear and consistent policies and manage changes to existing processes while building relationships at all levels of WPO. Lastly, the Pricing Manager will understand and support WPO operational and financial goals.The goal of the Pricing Department is to centralize all pricing related processes and to work collaboratively with other departments to deliver flexible client pricing options. Situated within the Finance structure, the Pricing team will obtain any data necessary for WPO’s pricing while striving to preserve healthy profit margins on new business. Additionally, the Pricing team will document costs and utilization assumptions matched to actual revenue and expense outcomes.Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day activities of the Pricing Analysts; be a point of escalation for difficult or custom pricing requests
- Modify existing policies and procedures or establish new ones as needed for the effective utilization of WPO proprietary pricing calculators.
- Manage proprietary pricing tool and calculators with data updates and user access
- Deliver comprehensive pricing to internal stakeholders, accompanied by documented assumptions and flexible alternatives tailored to requested client pricing.
- Thoroughly document all pricing assumptions and resulting outcomes.
- Lead efforts to report and leverage pricing data related to client profitability and utilization of services
- Establish and maintain a centralized repository for pricing information and associated risk assumptions, ensuring alignment with actual outcomes.
- Track and report trends in risk assumptions, using management dashboards to promptly alert leadership of any client outcomes that exceed projected assumptions.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to facilitate the seamless flow of required data and information necessary for pricing analysis and decision-making.
- Spearhead the implementation of the "pricing desk" policy and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure its effective establishment and operation.
- Communicate any changes to pricing department-supported processes to internal stakeholders, actively seeking feedback to drive continuous process improvements.
- Manage and oversee the professional development of Pricing Analysts, providing mentorship and guidance to foster their growth within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated superior process improvement and change management skills.
- Curious and driven to understand and create something new with limited guidance.
- Effective communicator, verbal and written, with ability to communicate complex concepts simply.
- Leadership skills within an ambiguous environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and other database or analytical tool experience.
