- Support with planning, management, and delivery of a comprehensive communications plan, with a particular focus on PR, within agreed timescales and budgets and across channels.
- Develop and deliver press releases and articles that raise key issues and support our brand positioning.
- Deliver thought-leadership campaigns and manage relevant updates across collateral ensuring a consistent application of any change across all media channels.
- Develop and produce quality and consistent content for online channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and emails.
- Seek creative and effective ways of promoting our Purpose, proposition benefits, service and brand to Financial Brokers and customers.
- Assist with delivery of a comprehensive marketing plan, supporting the wider team, within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Work with key internal specialists and translate technical information into digestible and easily understood content, complying with industry regulations.
- Coordinate and ensure key stakeholder engagement in all campaigns and communications.
- Brief and work with external agencies (design/print/creative/PR) to support campaigns and projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Educated in a marketing/communications discipline.
- Experience in a marketing/communications role, with responsibility for delivering meaningful PR outputs (media engagement not required).
- Experience in content creation, and editing across a variety of media, both traditional and digital, but ideally with a particular focus on PR.
- Strong time management and project management skills.
- Professional, positive, and collaborative attitude and work style.
- Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry (protection/pensions) and legislative environment.
- Experience in the Financial Broker market.
