Fresh Food Manager

• Oversee the full fresh food offering, including deli, bakery, butchery, and produce departments
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service from day one of store opening
• Recruit, train, and manage a fresh food team to maintain operational excellence and compliance standards
• Drive sales, margin, and waste targets, while maintaining outstanding food safety and HACCP procedures
• Merchandising and presentation of all fresh food areas to the highest brand and visual standards
• Collaborate closely with senior store management to ensure a seamless and successful launch
• Monitor competitor activity and customer feedback to continuously improve the fresh food offering

• Proven experience managing fresh food departments in a supermarket or convenience store environment
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and quality assurance standards
• Leadership and communication skills to build and guide a high-performing team
• Passionate about food, service, and creating a best-in-class shopping experience
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to meet KPIs and profitability targets
• Energetic, motivated, and eager to take on the challenge of a new store opening
