Sample Preparer

- Help manage the process of sample preparation workflow as the samples arrive in the lab.
- Maintain shift production levels and ensure sample preparation work meets required turnaround time.
- Maintain close liaison with Supervisor and other lab staff to ensure the smooth delivery of our services to clients.
- Identify internal and external problems when they arise.
- Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality.
- Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Basic Mechanical aptitude.
- Organized and highly motivated individual.
- Detail oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively handle a high volume of work and time critical issues.
- Intermediate English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks.
- Be clean-shaven to wear protective equipment.
