
Finance Systems Accountant

- Collaborate with the ERP project team to ensure effective integration of the finance module.
- Participate in system design workshops and support process streamlining to maximise out of the box functionality.
- Manage data migration and perform system testing to validate the system functionality.
- Financial Data Management:
- Support the accurate and complete migration of financial data from legacy systems to the new ERP system.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations within the ERP environment.
- Training and Support:
- Deliver training and on-going support to Finance team members to ensure proficiency in the new ERP system.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Support the development of financial reports and dashboards to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Compliance and Controls:
- Ensure financial processes within the ERP system adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Programme Management, IT, Finance, Operations and Executive Leadership to align the ERP system with the business needs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in finance, with at least 2 years in ERP / Finance systems implementations or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel. Experience with system implementation and point solutions is essential.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
