- Regulatory Compliance Advisory: Assisting financial services firms in responding to evolving regulatory expectations, including end-to-end implementation of requirements from interpretation, readiness assessments through to operating model changes and assurance support.
- Risk Management: Delivering expert support and tailored solutions involving the development or assessment of risk management frameworks and associated artefacts, processes and governance structure to meet regulatory requirements and align with business strategy.
- Regulatory Support: Guiding firms through the end-to-end regulatory lifecycle – from initial licensing to managing thematic reviews, inspections and skilled persons reviews.
- ICT Governance, Strategy & Risk Management: Building integrated, risk-aligned ICT frameworks that enhance oversight, accountability and strategic decision-making across the business, and supporting enhancement of the operating model to embed the framework accordingly.
- Corporate Governance: Reviewing corporate governance structures and frameworks against regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
- Internal Audit & Assurance Services: Providing independent assurance and co-sourced support to strengthen internal audit effectiveness and deliver value-added insights.
- Supporting senior management in leading and delivering high-quality engagements, acting as a key day-to-day contact for clients.
- Building trusted relationships with client stakeholders through consistent communication, proactive issue resolution, and understanding their regulatory needs.
- Taking ownership of discrete workstreams, ensuring timelines, quality standards and client expectations are met.
- Preparing reports and supporting documentation – making oral presentations of findings/recommendations to client management team(s).
- Supporting technical analysis – being a 'subject matter expert' in aspects of key financial services regulation (e.g. CPC, DORA, Operational Resilience and Outsourcing Guidelines).
- Assisting senior management in developing go-to-market solutions and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings with existing and prospective clients.
- Networking with clients, prospective clients and internally across the firm.
- Providing mentoring and coaching to junior team members, offering guidance and feedback on technical areas, engagement delivery and career development.
- Contributing to a positive team culture by fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- A third level degree, with a strong academic record.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services (e.g. banking) or professional services.
- Familiar with key regulatory requirements for financial services firms, in particularly within the Irish and European regime.
- Experience in leading and managing teams in the successful delivery of objectives.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence and developing effective working relationships.
- A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to adopt an agile approach.
- Good written communication skills and attention to detail.
- An ability to quickly learn new skills and develop on the job knowledge.
- Strong organisational, verbal communication and time management skills.
