Business Development Manager - Cork City based Hotel GroupWhat You'll DoSales & Business Development
  • Proactively source and convert new Group business within the MICE & Leisure sectors
  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and group organisers
  • Deliver standout site visits and presentations that reflect our guest-first approach
  • Represent Trigon Hotels at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
  • Create tailored proposals that exceed expectations and secure new contracts
Revenue Growth & Strategy
  • Work closely with the Group Sales & Marketing Director on strategy and growth plans
  • Partner with Revenue Management to meet and exceed group revenue targets
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
  • Use simple, efficient reporting to track performance and drive decision-making
Account & Client Management
  • Act as the main contact for Leisure Group clients
  • Build meaningful, respectful client relationships - leveraging tools like LinkedIn
  • Seek and action feedback to enhance the group experience
  • Drive repeat business through outstanding service and loyalty-building
Collaboration Across all Hotels
  • Work with Marketing to design campaigns showcasing group and event offerings
  • Support both hotels with coordinated cross-property packages
  • Share success stories, insights, and best practices with your colleagues
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to an inclusive, “One Team” culture

  • Achieving and surpassing revenue targets across Rooms, F&B, Room Hire, and especially MICE & Leisure Groups
  • Maintaining a healthy, active pipeline of business
  • Growing market share and developing new strategic partnerships
