- Manage and deliver the training operations lifecycle, from initial programme scoping through to learner certification, ensuring outstanding quality, consistency, and impact at every stage.
- Hands-on cultivation of accountability and collaboration, proactively addressing operational challenges, modelling behaviours and standards for the team through visible and consistent action.
- Lead, mentor, and provide hands-on support to a multidisciplinary team, including Project Coordinators, Compliance, and Procurement Coordinators, as well as Training Administrators, with clarity, empathy, and active involvement in day-to-day tasks.
- Engage personally in regular coaching and feedback, building a high-trust, high-performance environment.
- Embed and monitor compliance with ETB contracts, certifying body regulations, public procurement processes, and internal QA standards by actively working alongside and supporting the compliance team in daily operational tasks.
- Maintain hands-on oversight of operational reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and an audit-ready mindset.
- Drive continuous improvements in assessment, verification, and documentation processes, working closely with compliance to consistently raise standards.
- Drive and deliver efficient, learner-focused programmes, ensuring operational excellence and meaningful learner outcomes.
- Enable and promote integration and optimisation of operational systems including TMS, LMS, and SharePoint to streamline workflows.
- Refine and elevate the learner experience, ensuring every touchpoint from registration through to certification is delivered with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with procurement to manage supplier and subcontractor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and alignment with organisational values.
- Serve as the hands-on primary contact for ETB clients, awarding bodies, suppliers, tutors, and internal stakeholders, fostering trusted relationships.
- Represent Hartley People Training at meetings, audits, and strategic forums, communicating clearly about operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
- Apply emotional intelligence and active problem-solving to interactions, navigating complexities, resolving conflicts, and promoting collaboration and harmony.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a training or education organisation
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Proven communication and leadership skills
- Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively
- Strong business acumen and understanding of industry standards and best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiples priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Full clean drivers licence
