
Catering Key Account Manager

- To regularly meet buyers and visit outlets in order to maximise profitable sales to current key catering customers.
- To introduce client to new accounts in the catering sector.
- To negotiate and manage pricing and promotions to customers in such a way as to grow sales and profitability to those customers.
- To co ordinate projects with the sales team and with other departments
- To manage the business in such a way as to maintain or grow motivation levels among the team and distributors teams.
- To identify and assess promotion concepts and opportunities for agreement with distributors or buyers and to implement the agreed promotions.
- To liaise with the administration office to ensure that all correspondence, filing and account queries are properly processed and that timely information is produced to monitor performance.
- To liaise in a timely manner with new product development regarding new product launches and the development of new products and with quality control where product complaints arise.
- To maintain good relations with existing and prospective customers and distributors and to constantly emphasise the company's commitment to quality and service.
- To liaise with the other members of the management team to develop strategies for the continuing profitable development of the company's operations and to undertake other work as may be required from time to time.
- To maintain client's values and ambitions in line with the company's commitment to our “Growing Our Future” programme.
- To pay work with and help develop SalesForce CRM system and procedures related to it.
- Conscientiousness about deadlines with a complete commitment to accuracy, honesty and integrity and confidentiality.
- Organisational ability and adaptability to take responsibility for a wide range of tasks and an appreciation that quality is essential at all levels in the food industry.
