Hospital Chef - Dublin 7 Are you an experienced Hospital Chef? Join a healthcare facility in Dublin 7 and bring your culinary expertise to a fast-paced, rewarding environment. This full-time role is perfect for chefs with experience in hospital kitchens, HSE facilities, or large-scale catering operations. Your Role: Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals that meet patient dietary requirements. Lead or support daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and consistency. Mentor and guide kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth. Follow HACCP, cook-chill, and food safety procedures to maintain the highest standards. Manage inventory, food storage, labelling, and waste control. Work closely with dietitians and healthcare teams to plan menus and adapt meals as needed. Ensure compliance with all HSE and health & safety regulations. What We're Looking For: Qualified chef (QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent) Experience in hospital kitchens, healthcare catering, or high-volume catering. Strong knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene, and cook-chill procedures. Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance. Ability to provide 5 years of work references. Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends. What We Offer: €20.29/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays. Full-time, daytime hours (typically 7:00 am - 6:00 pm). Varied shifts Monday to Sunday to meet client needs. No late-night or overnight shifts.
