Project Manager - CAPEX Engineering Projects

• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery of strategic Engineering projects, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and meet all project and business Safety & Quality goals.
• Scope new projects, estimate costs, secure capital approval, and effectively manage project budgets.
• Accountable for project schedules, providing clear progress reports and robust Risk Management.
• Manage project resources efficiently.
• Coordinate project interfaces with other internal departments and projects, as well as with third parties, including suppliers, customers, and service providers.
• Oversee Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Qualification activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with GDP (Good Documentation Practices) requirements.
• Organise and coordinate project meetings and appointments effectively.
• Conduct retrospective project performance reviews against goals, documenting lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Participate in and lead cross-functional teams as necessary, fostering excellent interdepartmental relationships across the company.
• Provide strong leadership to project teams, guiding them to successful outcomes

• Skills, Attributes & Experience :
• Third level qualification in Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Science.
• 8+years experience in industry of which not less than 3 years in pharma/medical device industry & 3 years in a project management role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience of delivering engineering projects within a GMP regulated environment.
• API manufacturing experience
• Qualification in Project Management
• 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem solving/decision making methodology training
