Dublin South FM community radio wishes to further develop its relationship with the community, and integrate more local issues, community stories, news, and arts & culture content into its programming. Please note, training in all aspects of radio production and research will be provided and ongoing development and support from production staff will be available. Programme Researcher Responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of radio production, from research, sourcing guests & contributors, scripting, and ensuring timely delivery of research to radio presenters. Skills, behaviours, and competencies required: The candidate for this role should have an interest in working in radio or volunteering in community media. Interests: An interest in issues such as local stories, community development, social issues, news, arts & culture would be ideal. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to research, scripting etc will be essential. Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills are needed to effectively collaborate with presenters, production staff, and liase with organisations and individuals in our catchement area. Openness to receiving feedback and incorporating input from production staff and the station manager is important. Organisation and Time Management: The ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment is essential.. Commitment to Quality: Dedication to maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of radio production, from content development and research to recording techniques, is essential.
