Quality Manager (Audit-Focused, Food Industry)

We are seeking a Quality Manager with a sharp focus on internal and external audit preparation and execution. This role is part of an established and well-functioning quality team. The successful candidate will take the lead on managing BRC/IFS audits, supplier audits, and internal quality system checks.Key ResponsibilitiesLead site preparation and execution for all third-party and regulatory audits (e.g., BRC, customer audits, DAFM)Maintain and update the site’s QMS documentation in line with audit requirementsConduct internal audits and support the wider team on non-conformance investigationsCollaborate with production and technical teams to ensure audit readiness is embedded in daily operationsWork with the existing Quality Manager to strengthen the audit side of the functionTrack and report on audit findings, CAPAs, and continuous improvement opportunitiesIdeal BackgroundExperience in the food manufacturing or food processing industryStrong audit background — ideally with recent hands-on experience leading BRC or equivalent auditsProficient in HACCP, traceability, and food safety systemsDetail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skillsCollaborative and capable of working within a small but busy QA teamA relevant qualification in Food Science, Food Safety, or similar is desirableBoth experienced Quality Managers and strong Quality Technicians with hands-on audit exposure will be considered.Confidentiality & Application Process
