- Full ownership of production, including budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and margin performance
- Control production costs across labour, materials, waste, rework, subcontract machining, and overheads
- Drive profitability through productivity improvements and smarter resource utilisation
- Support tender pricing and project costing with accurate production input
- Plan and manage daily and weekly joinery production schedules to meet project programmes
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing: timber machining, assembly, finishing, and despatch
- Ensure production output meets drawings, specifications, and site installation requirements
- Balance multiple concurrent projects with differing priorities and deadlines
- Ensure high-end quality standards suitable for premium residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
- Enforce workshop health & safety compliance and best practice
- Reduce defects, snagging, and rework through improved production controls
- Lead and develop workshop supervisors, chargehands, and craft operatives
- Improve workflow efficiency, layout, and material handling within the facility
- Drive lean manufacturing principles suitable for bespoke joinery production
- Support equipment investment, maintenance planning, and capacity upgrades
- Proven experience as a Production / Workshop / Manufacturing Manager
- Background in joinery, carpentry, fit-out, or construction manufacturing
- Strong commercial and cost-control skills
- Experience managing skilled trades and workshop environments
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, project-driven business
- Experience supporting large-scale residential or commercial construction projects
- Lean / continuous improvement experience in bespoke manufacturing
- Familiarity with Irish construction standards and H&S legislation
