- Responsible for the production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet for a number of Group Companies.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support month-end close processes in line with group reporting deadlines.
- Ownership of cashflow forecasting, monitoring and reporting
- Assist with the annual budget preparation process in collaboration the Head of Finance
- Prepare annual audit files and Liaise with external Auditors and Tax Advisors
- Prepare statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, RCT, employee expenses, CSO surveys)
- Support cost accounting and inventory accounting activities (where applicable)
- Work closely with Project Managers to support in Project performance and cost control, fee recovery and Margin Analysis
- Oversight of credit control activities to ensure timely collection of income and minimise aged debt.
- Oversee end to end payroll operations ensuring timely submissions.
- Some travel may be required from time to time, depending on business needs.
- Additional duties may be required beyond those listed above.
- Professionally qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
- A minimum 5+ years' experience in a comparable role is required
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modelling, data analysis).
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Proven experience with month-end processes and production of management accounts
