With continued growth across multiple sectors, they are now seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Officer to strengthen their team. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a safe working environment and supporting project delivery to the highest standards.Key Requirements:
- A third-level qualification in Health & Safety (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a construction, utilities, or similar site-based setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel as needed
- Assist Project Managers and the H&S Manager with compliance across all relevant regulations and company policies
- Conduct inspections and audits on-site to ensure safe working practices are upheld
- Prepare documentation including safety reports, risk assessments, and method statements
- Support accident/incident investigations and follow up with corrective measures
- Actively encourage and promote a culture of safety across teams and stakeholders
- Participate in project meetings and briefings, contributing to the achievement of safety objectives
- Monitor and track safety data, feeding into continuous improvement initiatives
