Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in an analytics or data scientist role.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries with multiple datasets to generate reporting or insights.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in a Business or Customer Service environment.
  • Experience with engineering practices within problem solving (e.g., development of Business Requirements Document (BRDs)/ Product Requirements Document (PRDs)/ Design Docs, checking in and reviewing code, etc).
  • Experience in using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) and techniques (e.g., experimental analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into useful formats and bring insights through communication.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a changing environment.

  • Partner with the gTech Ads support organization to develop an understanding of the business, from its data and metrics, to its tests and opportunities.
  • Provide thought leadership to business stakeholders, translating data into insights using appropriate investigative solutions.
  • Enable data-motivated business strategy decisions through metric design, opportunity sizing and impact measurement.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to measure and interpret business trends and inform business partner decisions.
