- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Self-Employed Field Sales Business Development Managers to achieve and exceed individual and regional targets.
- Provide ongoing coaching to enhance skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture aligned with company values.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive growth in line with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize performance, and create actionable plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders and partners in the region.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Field Sales Representatives, supporting them in closing deals and overcoming challenges.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and customer meetings to boost brand visibility.
- Ensure efficient territory management and account prioritization for team members.
- Regularly report on team performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Uphold compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within sales, preferably in the fintech, payments, or technology sectors.
- A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with hands-on experience in field sales.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. A personal style that demonstrates authority, commitment and consistency, and inspires trust and confidence.
- Experience in the payment industry will be considered as a strong advantage.
