- Hold a Degree/Master’s in Occupational Therapy from a 3rd level institution offering a programme of study accredited by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
- Be registered with CORU or show proof of pending registration at the application stage.
- Knowledge of the Judgement Support Framework and experience supporting compliance with the same.
- Knowledge of individual care planning and experience contributing to individual risk assessment
- Post-qualification work experience working in forensic mental health services.
- Have at least three years relevant post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in adult mental health services
- Experience in developing and running therapeutic services and programmes, including occupation-based and psycho-educational groups
- Experience working with individuals with complex mental health presentations
- Evidence of a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
