- Oversee the delivery of the Dementia Adviser Service, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to ASI policies and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of dementia advisers, facilitating their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with health and social care professionals to integrate the Dementia Adviser Service with existing and developing services.
- Promote awareness of the service and build relationships with referral sources to increase demand.
- Maintain quality standards through monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Have a primary degree or equivalent in a relevant health care area such as registered nurse, occupational therapy, or social work.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing health or social care services, preferably across multiple sites or geographic areas.
- Proven track record in monitoring and reporting on service delivery against key performance indicators.
- In-depth understanding of dementia and related issues, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in the community care sector and knowledge of safeguarding policies and legal aspects of working with vulnerable adults.
