Type: 12 months fixed term
Location: Co. Meath (office based)
Salary: Depending on experience
Reporting to: Group Financial Controller
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting of multiple entities to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of:
o Transaction posting checks and corrections
o Prepayments, accruals, and intercompany charges
o Intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation
- Manage and support the finance team in their day-to-day activities
- Oversee group procurement function
- Partner with senior leadership to set and monitor annual budgets
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process
- Participate in continuous improvement projects as required
- Fully qualified accountant
- Minimum 5 years PQE
- Background in the construction/engineering industry preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
