- Maintain accurate stock records across all systems, ensuring correct SKU setup, pricing, and data integrity
- Oversee goods intake, ensuring all deliveries are matched to Purchase Orders and discrepancies (shortages/damages) are recorded and resolved
- Manage and control the booking in of deliveries in line with seasonal demand, ensuring intake is scheduled in a controlled and efficient manner
- Develop and manage intake calendars to plan and balance inbound stock flow
- Manage stock allocation across retail stores and e-commerce, ensuring optimal distribution based on sales performance and demand
- Monitor stock levels, manage min/max thresholds, and trigger replenishment to avoid stock-outs or overstock
- Plan and coordinate inbound deliveries in line with warehouse capacity and intake schedules
- Lead cycle counts and stock takes, investigating and resolving any variances
- Oversee returns from stores, ensuring accurate processing, classification, and system updates
- Manage supplier discrepancies and liaise with accounts on invoice issues
- Ensure all processes are audit-compliant, with clear documentation and strong stock control procedures
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a stock control or merchandise planner role at management level
- Proven experience running or owning a stock control / inventory function (this role will not suit candidates without this level of experience)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Highly proficient in Excel with strong overall computer and systems skills
- Experience working with stock systems / ERP / WMS
- Experience in creating and managing intake calendars is essential
- Ability to manage processes, analyse data, and drive operational improvements
- Experience with the Fashion Master system is a distinct advantage
- Full-time position (39 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
