We are seeking experienced and disciplined Sous Chefs to join our culinary team in the execution of our culinary vision, maintaining the highest standards of delivery of outstanding authentic Chettinad cuisine, and ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing a specific kitchen area, ensuring your team meets all standards; preparing dishes to our established recipes, ensuring consistency including highest quality standards; coordinating the timing of dishes from your section with kitchen teams; providing daily training and guidance to your kitchen team on authentic Chettinad cooking methods and spice blends; managing daily preparation lists for your area; assisting the Head Chef with tracking inventory and reducing waste; maintaining strict cleanliness, hygiene, and safety rules throughout the kitchen; working cooperatively to ensure a supportive and efficient kitchen environment. Requirements: Demonstrated skill in preparing authentic Chettinad and South Indian cuisine; minimum 5 years of experience in related role and proven ability to lead and train a team; excellent cooking skills and knowledge of traditional South Indian methods; strong organizational skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively under pressure; strong collaborative leadership skills; certification from a recognised Chettinad establishment preferred.
