- Oversee daily activities of IT/technical third-party vendors (e.g. structured cabling installation).
- Manage communication between the local and remote teams, including third parties.
- Collaborate with design-partners, installers, and construction companies to consistently deliver the required quality of service.
- Partner with Data Centre Architects and the Infrastructure Manager to highlight non-compliance risks, delays, potential issues either planning or technical.
- Maintain a safe work environment while ensuring project deadlines are delivered as per schedule.
- Technical scope includes MEP and security systems supporting data centre and VDER'S.
- IT scope includes local wired network-connectivity installation, wireless access point installations, and line manufacturing network deployments.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or similar.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience within data centres or hosting services.
- In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, networking protocols (TCP/IP), and hardware components (servers and switches).
- Experience with building systems and supporting data centres.
- Strong documentation skills with expertise in interpreting SLDs, reviewing red-line drawings, using document management systems, and delivering projects according to specification documents and SOPs.
- Effective team player with strong communication skills and a continuous commitment to enhancing service quality.
- Knowledge of work processes and standards, knowledge of ISO and BS standards would be beneficial.
- Experience working in a regulated GxP environment or within the telecommunications sector would be beneficial.
