ISM Recruitment is delighted to partner with our client to recruit for the role of Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company where you will oversee warehouse teams, ensure efficient service delivery, and foster a safe, clean working environment that exceeds customer expectations.Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to the company’s health and safety arrangements and proactively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
Understand customer requirements and ensure the delivery of first-class customer service.
Supervise, train, and provide direct assistance to warehouse operations, including loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, inventory control, and other value-added activities.
Assign workloads and specific tasks within the Warehouse Team.
Operate the company’s Warehouse Management System (PC & Handheld Scanner) and client’s own IT systems.
Operate various material handling equipment (Pallet Trucks, Forklift Trucks, etc.).
Ensure the Warehouse Team’s adherence to Daily/Weekly/Monthly ‘Task Lists’.
Act as the main point of contact for all visitors to the warehouse.
Monitor security within the warehouse and yard.Candidate Requirements:
Leaving Cert qualification; a 3rd level degree in a Logistics-related discipline is desirable.
Forklift Training Certificate and Manual Handling Certificate.
Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role in a warehouse environment; experience with a Freight/Logistics service provider is desirable.
Strong leadership and man management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good literacy and numeracy skills with attention to detail.Hours of Work:
