Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of clinical operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and full compliance with HIQA regulations.
- Lead, manage, and develop the nursing and care team, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management.
- Ensure the delivery of person-centred care, promoting residents’ dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing.
- Oversee clinical governance, including risk management, infection prevention and control, and medication management systems.
- Liaise with residents, families, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless and effective care delivery.
- Monitor staffing levels, resources, audits, and inspections, driving continuous quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a senior nursing management role in a nursing home setting.
Strong knowledge of HIQA standards, Irish healthcare regulations, and clinical governance.
Proven experience in staff management, leadership, and team development.
Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
Experience in audit management, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ability to manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources effectively.Benefits
