Location: Clonmel, Co. TipperaryOptimize Recruitment, working closely with our client is now looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join their finance team in Clonmel. The ideal candidate will provide essential support across a broad range of finance functions, contributing to the smooth operation of the companies finance department.If you have a passion for numbers and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you!Responsibilities:
- Process creditor invoices and EFT payments
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and prepare lodgements
- Complete monthly creditor statement reconciliations
- Post multi-currency bank transactions in the accounts system
- Manage petty cash and prepare physical lodgements
- Maintain the debtor ledger and handle sales invoicing
- Recharge shared site utility and service costs
- Support preparation of monthly trial balance and payroll reconciliations
- Assist with VAT reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation
- Provide cover for weekly and monthly payroll as needed
- Respond to finance-related queries and complete ad hoc duties
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role
- Strong Excel skills are essential
- A relevant qualification is an advantage
