Salary: Negotiable depending on experienceAt Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Area Sales Manager to join our client's growing team based to cover North Leinster, Midlands and the West of Ireland. Represent industry-leading building products within the Republic of Ireland, delivering profitable growth through contractor and distributor pull-through business, maintaining specifications with housebuilders and key partners.What's on Offer:

- Drive sales through proactive engagement with contractors, distributors, and housebuilders.
- Identify discretionary and unspecified sales opportunities with key customer groups.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across the contractor, merchant, and housebuilder network.
- Engage regularly with sales teams and decision-makers to influence project outcomes
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline, and market insights.
- Actively participate in sales meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A relevant Business degree or qualification is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Experience with render products is advantageous
- Proven experience in distribution, contractor, and project sales, ideally within construction or building products.
- Strong track record of securing business with housebuilders, contractors, and distributors/merchants.
- Skilled in value-based selling and tailoring solutions to meet customer needs
