The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build strong relationships, drive revenue, and lead a sales team to success.Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management: Achieve agreed annual and quarterly sales targets through the management of existing accounts, development of new business opportunities, and provision of excellent after-sales service.
- Returns Control: Monitor and manage product returns, ensuring they remain within agreed percentage targets.
- Stock Reconciliation: Ensure all stock is accurately tracked and accounted for from delivery to point of sale.
- Team Rotas: Oversee scheduling and rota management to ensure full operational coverage during holidays, absences, and peak periods.
- Staff Management: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff as needed. Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
- Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance and compliance of company vehicles, ensuring adherence to accident reporting procedures.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide accurate and timely reports to senior management. Maintain open lines of communication on all matters affecting the business.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar sales or territory management role.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Proven team player with the ability to contribute to wider sales strategy discussions.
- Full clean Irish/European driving licence required.
