Arcon Recruitment is currently seeking to recruit a Customer Service Manager for a leading organisation operating within the hardware and building products sector.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service professional to lead and develop a team while ensuring the highest standards of service delivery across the business.The RoleThe Customer Service Manager will oversee the Customer Service teams within the Hardware Division, ensuring efficient order processing, strong customer engagement and excellent service standards.Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to drive continuous improvement across customer service systems, processes and procedures.This is a leadership role requiring strong communication, organisational and people management skills.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam LeadershipLead and manage Customer Service teams across multiple locations.Provide guidance, support and mentoring to team members.Promote a positive, solution-focused and collaborative working culture.Customer Service ExcellenceEnsure consistently high standards of customer service delivery.Manage and resolve escalated customer issues professionally.Support field sales teams with accurate and timely information.Process ImprovementReview and enhance customer service systems and processes.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and communication.Analyse customer feedback and operational data to drive improvements.Training & DevelopmentDeliver training to strengthen customer service skills and product knowledge.Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.Cross-Department CollaborationWork closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics teams.Ensure smooth order fulfilment and product availability.Experience & Skills RequiredMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar management role.Proven experience managing and developing customer service teams.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong IT skills (ERP system experience advantageous).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Personal AttributesStrong leadership and people management skillsCustomer-focused mindsetPositive and professional approachExcellent problem-solving abilitiesWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for career development and trainingContributory pension schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeAdditional annual leave after 1 year of serviceLocation📍 SligoApply NowFor more information or to apply in confidence, contact:Sylvester at Arcon Recruitment📞 087 6723 533
