- Lead and provide direction to the Customer Service team, ensuring excellent service delivery across all customer touchpoints.
- Manage, mentor, and develop teams across multiple locations, fostering a positive, solution-focused culture.
- Drive improvements in customer satisfaction, managing escalated queries and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
- Work closely with the commercial and sales teams to support field sales colleagues with timely updates, insights, and customer solutions.
- Identify and implement process improvements across customer service systems, procedures, and communication channels.
- Analyse customer feedback and operational data to identify trends and recommend service enhancements.
- Develop and deliver training programmes to improve service skills, product knowledge, and team performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and support career development within the customer service team.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and efficient order fulfilment.
- Represent the customer service function in internal meetings, ensuring clear communication between departments and field teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders to support overall business objectives.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a customer service leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing, distribution, or related environment.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams across multiple locations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong listening ability.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good IT and systems knowledge (ERP experience advantageous).
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to support wider business goals.
- Willingness to travel regularly to other company locations across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
