As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionDue to continued growth in our Infrastructure Project Management team in Dublin we are looking to appoint Junior Estimators to work with our clients, on the delivery of exciting projects.The Junior Estimator will be responsible for providing support to the client's Costing and Estimating Lead in reviewing, developing and implementing processes, procedures and systems to be used in the planning, estimating, budgeting, funding, managing, and controlling of costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget.The role holder will also support in the carrying out of cost management and estimation across the programme and will ensure that there is a focus on accurate forecasting of out-turn costs and cash flow and a culture of mitigating estimated cost-overruns is embedded.The Costing and Estimating Support will be required to possess the following skills:

Ability to coordinate and organize multiple sources of reporting inputs / performance data and deliver project / programme reports as required
An ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

QualificationsQualifications

1 to 5 years' experience in cost management and estimation and a proven track record of conducting in cost management and estimation in high value infrastructure projects or projects of a similar scale / complexity.
C Eng / BEng / BA / BSc cost management, quantity surveying, estimating management or in a related discipline

Additional requirements:

Tangible experience implementing the costing and estimating frameworks within a PMO function
Proven track record of delivering costing and estimating management in major project environments to enable achievement of project goals and objectives
Strong knowledge of cost management principles, methods, techniques and tools, including the standard method of measurement
Experience carrying out cost analysis, cost modelling and benchmarking processes and techniques
Experience dealing with costing systems and toolkits
Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting
Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector
