Work week: Monday-Friday 39hr week with a 1pm Friday finish
Hybrid: 2 days work from home offered.Key Responsibilities:
- Support new projects to ensure operational EHS readiness.
- Complete EHS Design reviews of equipment and facilities.
- Manage the company's safety training needs analysis for all employees within the organisation
- Plan, develop and coordinate the company's risk management programme.
- Develop and review Safe operating procedures.
- Develop and implement health promotion programmes within the business.
- Maintain compliance with EHS regulatory requirements including ISO45001, ISO14001 & ISO50001 and Global EHS standards.
- Provide support and advice to safety representatives and safety committees.
- Review and approve Site Safety permits
- Support sites chemical management and IH programs.
- Participate in the company's safety walks and internal audit program
- Maintain the sites chemical inventory.
- Support the site's waste management program.
- Collaborate and support other functions within the business in promoting Environmental, Health and Safety behaviours.
- Health and safety qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in Manufacturing environment preferably medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Experience in Chemical and Biological Safety would be an advantage.
- Proven behavioural change experience.
- Good communicator
- Excellent IT skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels in the organisation.
