Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Client: Main Contractor
Location: South Dublin
Sector: Large-Scale Residential
Essentials: Minimum 7 years’ of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably with a main contractor; project experience across construction and civil engineering works within residential and commercial sectors; Chartered or actively working towards chartership with the SCS; high level of IT proficiency with softwares such as CostX & Bluebeam.
Benefits: €80,000 - €95,000 ; company vehicle or travel allowance; company laptop and mobile phone; pension; life insurance and income protection; CPD support; access to lifestyle benefits.Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors to join the team on projects across the Dublin region, supporting the commercial delivery of large-scale residential developments.Key Responsibilities:Valuations & Cost Management:
Prepare monthly, interim, and final valuations, applications for payment, and reconciliations of costs for contracts, subcontractors, specialists, and suppliers.Cash Flow & Financial Reporting:
Provide accurate and timely information to support regular reviews of cash flow and financial position across assigned contracts.Procurement & Subcontract Management:
Work in conjunction with the Procurement Manager to place subcontracts for works under direct control, where required.Contract Administration:
Review and interrogate contract documentation, identifying and highlighting any anomalies or commercial risks.Client Valuations & Agreements:
Prepare, submit, and agree interim and final valuations with client representatives in line with contractual requirements.Measurement & Take-Offs:
Prepare detailed take-offs in advance of requirements for the Estimating, Procurement, and Planning teams.Final Accounts:
Prepare, submit, and agree final accounts for completed sections of works, including all contractual adjustments.Delay & Change Management:
Accurately record and manage contractual delays, variations, and associated entitlements.Team Leadership & Mentoring:
