Your role will involve:
  • Managing monthly, interim, and final valuations, including payment applications and cost/value reconciliation
  • Monitoring cash flow and providing accurate financial reporting on contract performance
  • Working with the Procurement Manager to appoint subcontractors across key packages
  • Reviewing contract documentation to identify risks, gaps, and inconsistencies
  • Agreeing valuation schedules with client representatives and ensuring timely submissions
  • Producing detailed quantity take-offs to support estimating, procurement, and planning
  • Preparing and agreeing final accounts, ensuring all variations are captured and resolved
  • Maintaining detailed records of contractual delays and commercial impacts
  • Supporting, mentoring, and developing assistant and junior surveyors
You will need:
  • 7+ years' experience, preferably with a Main Contractor
  • To be Chartered or undertaking steps to become chartered
  • Previous experience in residential/commercial/civil engineering works
